The 17th annual Cambio de Colores conference will take place at the University of Missouri – Kansas City on June 6-8, 2018, in the Student Union at UMKC (at 5100 Cherry St., Kansas City, MO).

Parking

Daily parking passes can be purchased during the registration process or during the check-in process for $7/day, or three days for $21 (please pick it up at the registration desk when you arrive).

If you do not purchase a pass, there is metered parking at UMKC that is metered during the day and night.

To pick up your permits and registration packets, please park at a coin metered spot and “feed” a few coins in the meter to avoid a ticket.  There is a large metered area on the 5th floor of the Cherry Street Parking Structure at 50th and Oak that takes bills as well as coins.

You can pick up a permit ($7/day) at the conference registration table – we have scratch-off Visitor Hang tags to display in your vehicle. With the permit, cars can park in the yellow Metered, blue Student Permit, or red Faculty/Staff Permit parking on campus as long as it’s not a specially reserved spot or a gated garage. The block is available for the evenings of June 5-7, at the rate of $99.99 plus tax, which includes hot breakfast, WiFi, and parking.  The block expires on May 5th, so be sure to call prior to that date.
