Registration for the 2018 Cambio de Colores conference will open in Spring 2018.


The 17th annual Cambio de Colores conference will take place in Kansas City, MO from June 6-8, 2018. The conference brings researchers, practitioners and those working with immigrant community in sharing experiences and knowledge that facilitate the integration and inclusion of immigrants in new settlement areas.
The regular registration fee is $200 per person, with reduced early bird registration ($175) available through April 17, 2018.  This fee includes all breaks, one lunch, one dinner, as well as a conference packet. A late registration fee of $25 will be added for registration received after May 28. There are special rates for full time students (please see schedule below). There are also special rates for UMKC students, staff and faculty.

UMKC students, faculty and staff are able to register at a reduced rate using the online registration form.


All cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the MU Conference office by fax (573-882-1953) or email, and will be accepted up to May 31. There will be a $25 processing fee for canceling.

Daily parking passes can be purchased during the registration process for $7/day – so $21 for all three days (please pick it up at the registration desk when you arrive). You may also purchase a parking pass at the registration table upon arrival at the conference; however, purchasing this in advance will expedite your checking in at registration.  The parking location is TBD and information will be sent out once the location has been secured.

If you do not purchase a pass, there is metered parking at UMKC that is metered during the day and night.
